One of the best recommended websites for online backup is www.systemrecovery.com. They described online data backup as having insurance that protects your data against viruses, theft, or accidental deletions.

I tried it and found it to be quite expensive for what you got. I found an excellent service from a company called perfectbackup (www.perfectbackup.co.uk). They offer a 1GB account free for life allows you to backup as many computers or network dives as you like and supports Microsoft Echange and SQL out of the boxes.
I run a small business with an SBS server and 3 desktops, I now back them all up to my free 1GB account. You should have a look and try it out. |

Why not just find a tool that will auto-mail it to Gmail? It's 3GB and going up, free, and you can access it easily from anywhere.
Not a solution for bussiness, but for private use it shouldn't be a problem.. I'm still looking for a free solution, but something like this should work: http://www.office-addins.com/-outlo...omatically.html |

We tried several providers before we found http://www.securidata.co.uk . They perform monthly simulated restores of our online backup data. Invaluable peace of mind in knowing your files are restorable - not the cheapest solution but does offer that important extra functionality.

All of us in work use mozy for home and personal data. We have one commercial account with backupanytime.com for company data. In fairness the Moz service is left wanting when compared to a commercial service but this isnt apples v apples since mozzy is free....
