Default Computer Forensics Guidelines

A thorough Computer forensic examination and its subsequent analysis is not something that can be done by anyone, a specialist in the field will be required to examine any suspect computer system that has been seized for this purpose.

concerning computer forensics examination: does anyone have any knowledge of the program Cleanup! by Steven Gould. it is supposed to wipe you computer clean. including deleted files. Just wondering if the computer files still be detected by the local police if computer is seized? could they detect email and internet web sites visited?
it's a free download. and simple to use, just don't know if it really works. anyone?

if the police wish to know anything, they can contact your server and get any info they want on what or where you have been,so what's the point, buy a new hard drive, they are cheap you know.
